Seeking Local contestants for the Miss Frederick Scholarship and Miss Frederick’s Outstanding Teen Pageants

Fred­er­ick, MD – Decem­ber 5, 2011 – The Fred­er­ick­towne Ser­toma Club of Fred­er­ick is seek­ing local con­tes­tants for the Miss Fred­er­ick Schol­ar­ship and Miss Frederick’s Out­stand­ing Teen pageants.
Con­tes­tant appli­ca­tions are now being accepted for the 2012 pageants which will be held on Sat­ur­day, Feb­ru­ary 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the FCC The Jack B. Kuss­maul The­ater.  Both pageants are pre­lim­i­nar­ies to the Miss Mary­land and Miss Maryland’s Out­stand­ing Teen Amer­ica pageants, which will be held in June of 2012 in Hager­stown.
To be eli­gi­ble to com­pete for the title of Miss Fred­er­ick women must be between the ages of 17 and 24, at least a senior in high school, unmar­ried and attend school or be employed in Fred­er­ick County.  To be eli­gi­ble to com­pete for the title of Miss Frederick’s Out­stand­ing Teen girls must be between the ages 13 and 17, be no more than high school juniors and reside or attend school in Fred­er­ick County.

Con­tes­tants com­pet­ing for Miss Fred­er­ick are judged on tal­ent, an inter­view, evening wear, on-stage ques­tion and lifestyle and fit­ness in swim­suit.  Con­tes­tants com­pet­ing for Miss Frederick’s Out­stand­ing Teen are judged on tal­ent, an inter­view, evening wear, on-stage ques­tion and lifestyle and fit­ness in active wear.
